a story playlist dedicated to the idea of crushing, pining, wanting, obsessing, longing, missing. the music is varied in genre and floats from the initial sighting, crush development, obsessive longing, feelings of betrayal, regret, pining for the past, and acceptance of the circumstances. it is left up to the listener to decide if the relationship ever came to fruition, stayed at friends that wished they were more, or perhaps just obsessed from afar. my personal favorite moment is the trio of I Have Dreamed Of You So Much, Angel, and Obsession. i add to this one semi-regularly, if i hear a song that fits the narrative and vibe.

a joint playlist with my dear friend jace. we both like metal, specifically deftones, and i knew jace could introduce me to some incredible artists in the genre so i asked him to make a playlist with me. 2 years and almost 700 songs later, we have def got tones. this playlist paints a broad stroke of subgenres, but has a focus on particularly pathetic sounding lead singers and instrumentals. this playlist is my most regularly updated/added to on spotify.

music i have listened to while, currently listen to while, and make me think of smoking weed. i am a regular smoker and have been for about a decade. these are mostly songs i listened to when i was 18-22, and remind me of parties and nights out and long (dangerous) drives. there are popular hits and deep cuts in there, a variety of genres but majority rap and hiphop. i do not add to this playlist very often as i do not party like i did when i was 18-20, but sometimes i find a song that reminds me of a specific smoking session, event, or people i smoked with. these days i smoke some when i get home while i do other things like code or work on art. i listen to this playlist most often when i am streaming or if i want to listen to upbeat songs.
